Social and Behavioral Health Student Association

About SBHSA

Formed in January of 2011, the goal of SBHSA is to represent the interests and needs of the Social and Behavioral Health graduate students at VCU SOM.

This organization provides a forum for graduate students to share ideas and collaborate on projects of interest. It is a friendly and intellectual environment where students can support one another in their research endeavors and ask their colleagues for advice and/or input.

Meetings

Meetings are typically held once a month after Departmental Seminars, on Tuesdays at 2:30pm. Monthly meetings will allow students to collaborate on academic and community projects that share common goals or themes. So, bring your ideas and enthusiasm!

Membership

We encourage students of all departments on campus pursuing a graduate education in Social and Behavioral Health, conducting or assisting with research in the field, or with a passion for the field, to join.

Events

We plan to have a social event which will be open to the public very soon. Check back for updates.
